Patient Information Hub

At Cardiac Care Queensland (CCQ), we are committed to providing clear and supportive care for patients with heart conditions. Dr Ryan Markham, an experienced interventional cardiologist, offers cardiology services that include diagnosis and treatment at our clinics in Spring Hill and Greenslopes.

If you are searching for a cardiologist in Spring Hill, we are accepting new patients and welcome referrals.

Booking Your Appointment

If you have a GP referral, booking an appointment is straightforward. You can fill out our online contact form, and our team will be in touch to schedule your consultation. If you don’t yet have a referral, speaking with your GP is the first step. They can assess your needs and provide a referral if required. For GPs, a referral form is available here.

Preparing for Your First Visit

Your first appointment is focused on understanding your health concerns and planning the next steps in your care. Prior to your appointment, you will be required to complete a Patient Information Form, detailing any current medications you may be taking, details for your GP, and contact information for your next of kin.  During the consultation, we will review your medical history and any test results or documentation you bring with you. Please ensure you have:

  • A valid cardiologist referral from your GP.
  • Relevant medical records or imaging.
  • Your Medicare card and private health insurance details.

Continuity of Care

We are committed to offering our patients continuity of care, from the initial consultation through to any required treatment. Our services include diagnostic options such as echocardiograms and stress tests, as well as interventional procedures like coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). We aim to simplify your care journey by offering a range of diagnostic and interventional services in one location, helping to minimise the need for additional referrals where possible.

If you are in need of a heart specialist in Brisbane, contact us to learn more about how we can support your care.

Fees and Rebates

Medicare rebates may apply to consultations and some tests if you have a valid GP referral.

Outpatient procedures: Most outpatient services may be eligible for Medicare rebates.

Inpatient procedures: For inpatient procedures, partial rebates may apply in conjunction with your private health insurance, depending on your coverage.

We recommend confirming your entitlements with your insurer or contacting our team for guidance on fees and rebates.
